our first album, "the spire" came out on october 31st 2025. also happens 2 be indys birthday. we began recording september 9th 2024 and finished recording at about october 22nd 2025, though we were just doing little things at that point.

we went into it with completely different songs than we left with, only 1/2 songs from our original demos made it onto the album (with good reason) one being lake riverrock. wuz originally just called "picky song" for almost all of recording but willow (i think should probably check) came up with that and it was gas

the reason the album took so long to finish was constant inconviences. we had 3 sm57 break on us, shiz was dire man. also school cause yea.

gear we used was alright, had an sm57 4 general stuff but mainly on snare, started with a pair of behringer c2's but late in2 the album got another pair, also started with a cheap shure mic from indys dad that was used on kick originally before we got a 90s akg d112 from ebay. for amps we had 2 spider iv's, 1 spider v, orange crush 12, fender rumble 25, and a gamma g25. most of em just were given 2 maddox but indy got the orange and fender rumble. we as a band - though mainly willow - saved up for a zoom l8 and it was pretty good, still is, but the usb input on it broke which is what really caused us to just force ourselves to finish the album instead of just adding on more stuff.
